As part of our Adventure 100 Challange the 1st Histon Rainbows had to write posts about Rainbows to put on our website. They split into three groups, and have written the three following posts.

Rainbows have fun. We love Rainbows.

We do colouring, we make things, play games. We used pasta to make pictures. We paint at Rainbows. We go outside at Rainbows. We have treasure hunts, we love treasures. We hate being silly. We really love Rainbows!

We did a puppet show for our parents. It was Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. The puppets were made out of socks. We performed it from behind a table, we stuck our puppets up when it was our turn.  Our Young Leaders read the story for us. It was fun, and we were a bit nervous. It lasted five minutes.  Then we all did our Rainbow promise, even some of our little brothers!

This is Rainbow Ted. When it’s your turn to have Rainbow Ted you have to write out all the good turns you’ve done that week to share with the rest of the Rainbows.

As part of the Adventure 100 Challenge, the 1st Impington Rainbows have to publish something about Rainbows on the internet. They split into 4 groups, and each group wrote their own post. Here they are:

We like games, we like Rainbows. We do fun games at Rainbows. This is Rainbow Ted, he is sweet. When its our turn to take home Ted, we have to do good turns for our Mums and Dads, like cleaning our animals, and laying the table, or giving our Mums and Dads breakfast in bed.

We made these masks for a celebration of 100 years of Girlguiding. We made them out of paper, pencils, stickers, feathers, and we remembered to put our names on the back. We tied them on with string.
