Playing our Didgeridoos

2nd Histon Brownies enjoyed an Australian Adventure at their recent Pack Holiday.  They stayed 2 nights at the Jarmen Centre in Newmarket.  They made Aussie craft including; didgeridoos, cork hats, koala bears and aborigine stone painting. Each team, or Six, earned points for successfully completing all the different activities and had to make sure that they had enough to eat supper. Luckily they all did!. They took part in an outdoor challenge which included tasting all sorts of revolting bush tucker, such as witchety grubs, worms nests and sharks eyeballs. They also played lots of outdoor games and had a big camp fire where they learned new songs from a group of visiting Guides.

It was Jenny’s birthday and she shared her cake with everyone

  1. Did you manage to get a sound out of the didges? It’s quite tricky :-)
